I used this location for my rehearsal lunch. They easily booked me with one of their private rooms and even said that I could come in the night before and decorate it if I wanted! They charge per person for the catering and we got a huge amount of food. We had bbq chicken and pulled pork with baked potato salad and cole slaw. Everyone loved the food! They even brought out to-go boxes for people to take home the leftovers! This was a really great, laid back place to have a big lunch with our family and friends.

This is the best in Hot Springs! The sampler platters have everything you want! Decent price for great food!

I can see more trips to Hot Springs in the future because of this place. I got the Sampler platter and that was probably the most food I've ever received at a BBQ restaurant for $17. It has ribs, sausage, beef, and pork. The ribs were really good and had a nice rub to them. The beef was juicy...not the best but very good. Pork was a little dry. But surprisingly to me was the sausage! I usually don't get sausage too often when I come back, I will be getting sausage. What really makes the meat really good are their sauces. Their sauces mixes well with all the meats. 4 to choose from...a tangy, tomato vinegar and a honey molasses with Spicer versions. None are really hot but does have a kick. Baked beans were very good and they seemed to be homemade. Baked potato salad was made of sour cream and really good. This place was also very crowded and had people still coming in. The worst part to me was their sweet tea. It was not very sweet but I've had worse. In summary, if you are hungry, great place to go because they give a lot of food compared to other BBQ places. Sauces mix well with all meat and the ribs and sausage were very good. The only reason I give it a 4 star is because I've had better BBQ but this is good enough to come back again and again.

Taste pretty good. Big portion tho. Meat were really soft. I got a smokin salad with pork meat. They gave me lots of meat over vegetable :) meat lover need to try this place.

Excellent, ate there with family for the holiday. I had the pulled pork plate with baked potato salad. It was excellent and there was plenty of it. Food was ready within 5 minutes of ordering.

My wife & I are from Southern California ((Cypress, N/W Orange County) & were in Hot Springs visiting some friends (5/14/14 to 5/18/14). We asked some locals about good BBQ & were told about Smokin' In Style. We were advised that SIS was better than the M place, so we tried it. We are used to baby back pork ribs & Santa Maria (CA) style BBQ, but have eaten the St. Louis style pork ribs before; as recently as 5/10/14 in Colorado. My wife & I both thought the SIS ribs were really good; tender, not tough, with a good smokey flavor. The available sauce choices were just the right addition to the great ribs!!! We have eaten BBQ in many places and thought the SIS ribs ranked right up there. We would (and will) go back to SIS on our next visit to Hot Springs. Magnum P.I. 5/19/14

I pretty much hate all BBQ outside of Texas.....that said, my level of hate goes down for places with cool locations like McLards that make me fill "cool" just to be there. Like I found something no one else knows about. Smokin in Style got me to 4 stars with the food. Hands down the best BBQ I have had in Arkansas. It is high quality food with a wide variety of sauces. Most southern BBQ places go heavy on sweet sauce but SiS lets you choose. We had them cater a 300 person event and I was sold on the value and the quality of the meats and sides so I went to visit in person. 11 of us sat down at 8:30 on a Sat night and had food in hand 5 minutes later. I can recommend the ribs...the pulled pork....the BURGER and the Baked Potato salad. Go for it. This place is really good.

Amazing food! The sampler was more than enough for the two of us.

First time eating here today and had a really good sliced beef sandwich jumbo style! The meat was tender and juicy (you add your own barbecue sauce, choice of 6). I liked the hot sauce best though I found it on the milder side than hot; good flavor though! I also had the smokin' baked potato salad...yum! I will definitely be back; think I'll have the pulled pork next time and some ribs.

GREAT BBQ JOINT and very popular. We tracked down this place based upon Yelp reviews and are very happy with the results. We got the sampler plate with baked beans and a baked potato ($1 upgrade) for $17.70. This includes, BTW, the whopping 11% tax they charge here. The pulled pork was good, if a bit chewy and the beef, sausage & ribs were great. The hot sauce was the best part. The bread, roll & beans were decidedly ho-hum. It was a huge meal; we took it home to share & some was still left over for later.

Ribs were delicious, tender enough to fall off the bone! The rub was great too! The beans were a little on the sweeter side but definitely worth trying. And if you're feeling adventurous, try the baked potato salad it's different but good.

I am on a quest to find good BBQ in Arkansas. This place so far is the best I have found. Good baked tater salad the ribs fall off the bone Update: The people here are very concerned everyone enjoys their food. The order of 1/2 rack was pretty darn good, good smoke flavor great taste and tender falling off the bone. Beans were good, baked potato salad was like eating a baked potato with sour cream. Very good experience overall. The pulled pork plate portion was huge and juicy, tender and full of that BBQ pulled pork taste usually missng inn most places. One of the best BBQ places in AR so far, based upon the food, service and crowd I doubt there is anything much better either in AR or the rest of the US. The prices were far better than eating at other restaurants no matter how good or bad the food. This place gets a 5 star all around

Very disappointed in the place. We decided to try it based on the Yelp reviews. The brisket was cold. My ribs were tender, but lacked flavor. The honey BBQ sauce and the fries were the only items that were any good.

In keeping with my practice of rating barbecue places by the quality of their pork sandwich, I ordered the pulled pork sandwich at Smokin in Style BBQ. I chose the place based on Yelp Ratings. [Side note: Since I was in Hot Springs, I wanted to try McLard's, Bill Clinton's favorite Bar-B-Q place, but, alas, they close from Mid-Dec. - Mid Jan. for vacation. Meat had a decent but overly chewy texture, with very good taste. The slaw was a rather bland cole slaw with large cabbage chunks. Sauce was complex and excellent. Overall this is a good BBQ place. Everyone raves about the ribs. There is a fairly extensive menu, featuring beef BBQ, catfish, burgers, etc. I also tried a tamale, but would not recommend that menu item. The restaurant is well lighted and clean and looks comfortable for casual dining. We got our food to go. If you are looking for Bar-B-Q in Hot Springs, AR, I recommend this place for pork sandwiches. I will try the ribs on my next trip

I had the ribs, beans and fries. Everything was above par in my book except the beans, they we just par. I highly recommend this joint to anyone in Hot Springs.

Chuck's was closed today -- so we tried this restaurant. The place smelled good... and was full of people. However, this food is garbage. The meat was fair -- the sauce was terrible. French Fries were okay. I brought most of the food home in a container... and bought some McClard's sauce on the way home. I'm guessing the food will be fair like McClard's. . ***UPDATE*** The food was much better with the McClard's sauce. I won't go back to Smokin In Style again... but I was at least able to eat the food.

We tried the brisket and pulled pork, plus a host of sides. Everything was fine to perfection! Some of the best BBQ I've eaten anywhere. The baked potato salad was a special ready recommended by the cashier...think of a fully loaded baked potato beaten into potato salad. Amazing!

It's a walk-up-n-order joint and they call your#. All our food was quite deelish and I was particularly surprised by the tamales. They are bbq'd pork filled and can be had plain or w/chilincheese and we ordered one of each alongside our Smokin-Stuffed-Potato and sampler platter. I expected a greasy mess of a tamale and it was far from it. The masa was light yet moist enough and the pork therein was a tad smoke and sweet and lean. I don't see a need for the chili and cheese but to each his own. The stuffed potato was excellent w/chix,slaw,beans,cheese and at $8 it seems spendy but it is two meals worth. My lovely aunt that lives locally was pushing me toward the sampler so she could score some of it and every item was great. The #2 spicy sauce was the beat of the choices, just a perfect balance of sweet/tang/heat. I don't usually gush over places like this because, let's face it, most places suck the mediocre and get by, but it is easy to tell that SIS takes pride in there corner of the community and it most yummily shows. If you are in the area and are into BBQ you simply must try it. On a side note: The rookie 1st reviewer categorized this shop in food when it belongs in restaurants-BBQ so when I searched for bbq in the area it did not come up. Have to see bout that.

We got the sampler platter. Everything but the sausage was dry, so we coated everything with sauce. The good news is that the sauces are all delicious! The ribs completely lacked flavor, but I've definitely had worse. My family owns a BBQ restaurant in Texas, and this place definitely doesn't compare--but of course, I'm biased.

Four kinds of sauce, great meat, and a killer coconut cream pie, this place gets a big thumbs up from me. I would recommend this to anyone looking for some of the best Arkansas BBQ, although this is just a notch lower than The Rib Cage BBQ trailer across town (which is amazing). Anyone who complains because the sauce "isn't good" apparently missed the other three sauces on their menu, because between all four of them you are bound to like one.

We just love this place - every time we visit Hot Springs, we try dozens of BBQ joints, but always end up back at Smokin' in Style. The sauces are wonderful - the seasoning is a MUST for taking home to impress everyone you know with your great cooking (goes great on potatoes, corn, rice, ALL meats....). Portions are HUGE. The ribs are fall-off-the-bone good, and I don't THINK they boil them....Just a great place.

Hands down, my favorite BBQ in Hot Springs. So far. To be fair, I've only had a chance to sample a small portion of the dozens of BBQ joints this town has to offer. The portions are ridiculously large, so don't be tempted to order a combo unless you are in the mood to really stuff yourself and you happen to be wearing loose-fitting clothing. Go for their pork ribs, and try to save room for their homemade banana pudding for dessert.

Had the Rib plate with fries and beans. Ribs were a bit overcooked but still good, beans OK and fries fair. Clean and nice place to eat. Being fro the KC MO area we are used to world class BBQ. This place is fine be not even equal to the better KC joints Nice selection of sauces but my wife thought the mild was too spicy, I thought it was mild. Would go here again to try the beef and pork sandwiches. Would recommend you give this place a try.

I highly recommend the quesadilla made with pulled pork. You will be asked if you want it with "jalapeños and all the stuff." Say "yes." When served, the quesadilla is quartered with each piece a respectable serving of its own. I also ordered onion rings which were the best I have had anywhere in years. Other Yelpers have written about all the sauces on the table. Try each of them. Start your dining experience in the dining room but don't be shy about going back to the counter for a to-go box.

Smokin In Style definitely has some of the best bbq you will ever try. The sauces, the ribs, the everything - it's all great. If you are traveling through Hot Springs, find this place and dig in (you can even drive through if you are in a hurry!) You'll love it!

The 6-Bone rib plate was delicious and the baked potato salad was wonderful. The selection of sauces was nice. Sliced beef a little dry on the sandwich but the awesome onion rings made up for it. The place is set back in a strip center with no other real restaurants so watch for it or you'll miss it.

They started out doing catering and now they have a restaurant as well. The food is excellent and they have big portions. Atmosphere isn't great, but the people are nice. Try the baked potato salad!

While it's hard to beat the BBQ in Memphis, TN - this place is a good 2nd to Memphis BBQ
